Overview: The purpose of this program is to impact the visibility and well-being of the bisexual, pansexual, fluid, queer, and unlabeled (bi+) community by supporting and empowering nonprofit organizations, programming, and training. Awarded nonprofit organizations need not be solely focused on the bi+ community; however, funding issued through this program must specifically serve the bi+ community.
Eligible funding uses include:
- General operations: helping organizations hire paid staff, host events, implement training, and organize community advocacy
- Training and education: helping organizations start, maintain, or expand training and educational efforts in order to address the lack of knowledge about the disparities faced by the bi+ community and about the diversity of human sexuality
- Projects and programs: supporting new projects or revisions to existing programs that increase bi+ inclusion and visibility
Applicants must describe the steps their organization has taken to address racism and anti-blackness in their leadership, staff, programming, and outreach.
