Overview: The purpose of this program is to support nonprofit organizations with sustainable community initiatives of interest to the funding agency. Supported community initiatives may involve activities pertaining to water projects, women’s empowerment, community recycling, general well-being, and entrepreneurship.
The funding agency’s current priority areas are:
- Empowering women: support for initiatives promoting economic empowerment and entrepreneurship
- Protecting the environment: support for initiatives promoting access to clean water, water conservation, and recycling
- Enhancing communities: support for community and civic initiatives, including those promoting education and youth development
In addition, support is available for vulnerable communities experiencing hardships due to the coronavirus.
