Overview: The purpose of this program is to support nonprofit, community-based organizations in Texas that propose to implement new or existing community projects in rural areas that advance community development, including environmental, economic, and educational projects for the benefit of rural communities.
Award Range: $3,700 – $43,000.
Applicants must have been in existence for at least one year and have an established board of directors.
Eligibility is limited to applicants that are located in rural areas in Texas that are not within the extra-territorial jurisdiction (ETJ) of any city having a population of 100,000 or more.
