Overview: The Special Diabetes Program for Indians program will provide funding for diabetes treatment and/or prevention activities/services for American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities. Activities and services should be aimed at reducing the risk of diabetes in at-risk individuals, providing high quality care to those with diagnosed diabetes, and/or reducing the complications of diabetes.
