Overview: The purpose of the CHWTP-TAC is to provide an infrastructure for leadership, expertise, and support to enhance the coordination and capacity building of award recipients under the Community Health Worker Training Program (CWHTP) HRSA 22-124. Eligible Applicants include: (A) Health professions schools, including accredited schools or programs of public health, health administration, preventive medicine, or dental public health or schools providing health management programs;(B) Health Centers such as community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Academic health centers;(C) State or local governments including state, local and territorial public health departments; or (D) Any other appropriate public or private non-profit entity or tribal entity that trains and/or supports community health workers and health support workers.
