sponsors BLACC—Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition @blacc_ahf powered by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s community partner and @aidshealthcare
Black farmers, non-profit organizations and elected officials came together to address the need for food in the Baton Rouge community.
In lower-income black neighborhoods the access to food of nutritional value is scarce.
Not only was fresh produce made available, people were able to get vaccinated, get rapid HIV tests and given masks as Covid numbers resurge.
This food give-away was a collaboration of organizations, leaders and activists centered around the goal of meeting a range of community needs. We could not have done this without the help of these incredible community members, activists, leaders and organizations. Thank you all ❤️
